For europe, ncr18650pf are still the best value for money it seems... Surprising after 5 years!

Re: "Edge" DD hubmotor, 1500W, 35mm, Al core

Ok thanks. It's normal regen only then? No variable regen? (1 throttle for acceleration and 1 for regen) and only sensored but not sensorless?

I'll stick with my phaserunner for now then lol

Cheap controller, ebrakes, mxus motor laced in 19" moto wheel, throttel, pas , lcd display for just abov 400€ with shipping. Not...

Re: 416 Open Frame Power Pack kit

Yes.. this is cater more towards powerwall or external power pack. For ebike, unless it is a common model, the shape is the same. There's too many variation in size or shape.. is hard to justify which one to go. If space is not a issue, this maybe able to reconfigure to your need. I'm not talking a...

Long scooter to go with someone and train

Hello

I'm thinking to get a stand up scooter for short distance and get on train.

However, i'd like it to be long enough so that someone else can be on the stand up scooter.

And lastly, i don't have time to do too much DIY. I'd like to easily find part for repair.

Anything to recommend?

Thanks

This is good for powerwall but a bit bulky for ebike. Have you considered using honeycomb layout?

Re: FS - UK 100.8v 24s Kraken MXUS 3000 - PROJECT

Too bad you don't have controller with variable regen and 18650 battery. I'd have bought it otherwise If he had, I imagine the asking price would be higher. Nothing stopping you from swapping out some components and selling what you don't want though. Could do but I don't have time to manage all of...

Thanks

Re: Compact Field Oriented Controller, ASI + Grin, limited run

Stopped working after rain happened. I thought it was something with my wiring and made sure the throttle and regen wire didnt touch each other. I also noticed by twigling the wire the on / off switch were cut so I resoldered it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qlb4a989l7fxssf/00000PORTRAIT_00000_BURST201...

Ebike to tow a caravan?

Hello I was wondering if an ebike could be used as a main way of living and transportation? Couldit be used to tow a few thousand kg caravan? It wouldn't need to move very fast, just a max speed of 30 mph would be enough to move from place to place. Anyone tried? How many watt motor would be needed?

Re: Compact Field Oriented Controller, ASI + Grin, limited run

I maximised all contact area with the phaserunner heatsink and changed to aluminium bolt and rivet for maximum heat transfer to the bike frame: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ngtm2b1q273ndh/IMG_20180915_222232.jpg?dl=0 The compression bolt between the 2 copper plates have also been changed to zinc as it...

Re: Compact Field Oriented Controller, ASI + Grin, limited run

How much power your motor use? I also want to cool the phaserunner, for that I use the frame, alu and tita are good heat conductors. But there must be good contact between the phaserunner and the frame. That is why I would remove the paint from the frame. And then use a good heat conductor between ...

Re: Compact Field Oriented Controller, ASI + Grin, limited run

As my phaserunner was always getting hot, I decided to add a heatsink to it. I've decided to use copper because it has greater heat transfer than aluminium: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pg9eddwytk5kp5j/IMG_20180905_191737.jpg?dl=0 Then I covered the whole controller with copper bar: https://www.dropbox...
