Sounds logical loldogman dan wrote: ↑Apr 12 2021 5:07amYou could try entering the wheel size doubled. Then 30 mph displayed would mean 60 mph. Not sure if that will work, but it might.

Speedometers over 100kph/60mph
Hi guys I have a cycle analyst waiting for my bike when I return back home but for the time being Im looking for a cheap speedo that can read over 100kph. I searched on aliexpress and couldnt find much. The displays are all 2 digits. I have a cheap speedo as well and set it at MPH to see if it could...

Re: QS205 tolerence specs??
Of course, they are soldered on the cells tabs with a machine. You can’t weld a new wire there if you don’t have that machine, or some expertise that I didn’t manage to find. Best is to crimp butt connectors on the actual wires, or use big gold bullets 5.5mm and up if you need the harness to be eas...

Re: QS205 tolerence specs??
The very short 10ga wires are not a problem. Crimping high quality butt connectors and wiring the harness with 8ga is a must because it does require longer wires. The longer the wiring, the bigger the wire ga required. Feeding that high power does heat the wiring pretty quick, so the longer the tim...

Re: QS205 tolerence specs??
I see.
But does it matter using 8awg instead of 10awg because the wiring coming out of the hobby king packs is 10awg..so even if you crimped 8awg onto the hobby king awg, you would still have a weaker/hotter area of concern???

Re: QS205 tolerence specs??
The risk is only at low speed uphill, repeated hard acceleration. Riding high speed is not a problem for it won’t pull much power after it had reached it. Hard starts from a standstill are pulling lots of power but it is only a few seconds and safe as long as it is not up a steep hill. This motor c...

QS205 tolerence specs??
Hi guys how are you? I know this isnt the same for each QS205 owner as there are many variables. To round things off to make it easier, if one had a controller set at 200a and 24s pack (100v) for 20kw. How long would you think the motor would hold up at max. throttle assuming all other componants su...

Pas dilemma..your thoughts?
Hi guys. Can i get your opinion?? What type of PAS would you recommend for this fat bike? As u can see, putting the magnet ring over the bottom bracket is fine but there is no place to mount the sensor itself which comes from the cycle analyst. The sensor is too far away from the magnet disc when it...

Re: Help with funky noise from the motor..video link attached
Vibrations might have to do with the rotation speed required for the fault to happen. It is not impossible that your throttle can be the cause though, but only if it is set to regen on release. I mean, a throttle eventually can have some dead spots, and if the controller is set to regen on throttle...

Re: Help with funky noise from the motor..video link attached
Check your wiring and connectors carefully, before you fry the controller. This motor has double hall set, try the other set. Check the wiring at axle exit (s). Check wire insulation integrity, rubs, kinks or cuts. Take off each connector from the housings to inspect. My guess is that you have an i...

Help with funky noise from the motor..video link attached
Hi all! I am hoping someone can diagnose this problem. Its my qs205 connected to 72V and sabvoton 72150 controller. Its not a controller problem as its new and i tested my other motor with it and was all fine. At 1/4 throttle the motor runs perfectly but getting close to 1/2 or more throttle..the mo...

Re: Spring or air??
Is your air fork located inside the mid frame? It's a DNM USD-8. put some fox float fluid (the air chamber lube, not damper fluid) or mix some SuperLube teflon grease w/ some fork oil. this solved my air leakage issue (not DNM) Thanks for that suggestion, I'll give that a try :thumb: Im jist talkin...
