Re: Looking for ebike professional in the UK.
Then you need to either sell the current controller you already have and buy a controller with a temperature sensor, or convert the controller you have. I dont keep up on Sabvoton controllers, but you sure you can convert a non temp sens cont to a temp sens? If that be the case, then someone needs t...

Ah yes, the wonders of the english language. Though I did mess up that sentence. And that last one too. Definitely so. Not Defiantly so  Definitely and defiantly are both adverbs, but trust us: the similarities end there. You use definitely when you want to describe something clearly, un...

Temp sensor wire in the motor is easy to do.
Opening up the motor - https://ebikes.ca/learn/troubleshooting.html
Wiring temp thermistor - https://youtu.be/Wc8OJtFRUng?t=789
*Be sure you have the right thermistor for your controller.

I'd try to layer each 0.12 pure nickel strip or 0.15 nickel plated steel strip
welding each layer onto the next
or solder on some solid core wiring onto the strips.

The QS205 has many different heights of magnets with lots of difference wattage ratings.
55H/50H/45H from 1500W - 4000W there might be one listed as 5000W.

Yeah sorry, you got a lot going on. 2wd bafang hub motors and the chain motors. Good luck with that, Besttech Power would fit high quality but some have said their not. I need to look for high quality BMSs I dont know if you can do 15-20 minute charge every 40-50 miles on a simple 115V 10A outlet. L...

Thanks, I gave qulbix a holler and they do still sell it off-list. About $120 for the pegs and adapters (likely plus a bit more for shipping). Couldn't find a direct order source for the serrated washers, though -- but belleville has a website I could reach out to. Any fastener store should have th...

Those high power brushless chain drives are like bucking broncos unless I get a really expensive programable controller. Even with a cheap generic controller the big power motors are pretty good, so not sure where you get the bucking bronco idea from. Its better to have a single powerful hub motor ...

I like more charge amps, but I also look at the C-rate for charging. My laptop chargers were 5S (19V) in reality 20.50V so 0.50V off max charge, but at 8A. To add to that I had two batteries both 5S that I put in series with a home made XT90 series harness so I could disconnect 10S into 2x5S, and us...

Caused by government allowing the standard diet to happen and government being paid off by corporate lobbyists. Another interesting fact, when time changes occur and people lose an hour of sleep there are more car crashes and hospital stays. 25% more. And when people gain an hour, its 25% less one s...

Remaining battery voltages is very hard to measure, then you pu tinto the mix cheap displays.
Display is erratic, thats why you take a digital multi meter and measure to confirm 0V.

Tab strips are super easy to bend and break, probably takes about 3 or 4 complete folds to break Same goes for solid core wire Stranded wire is good for flexibility why would stranded copper be less likely to break than strip? they both in theory should have the same fatigue limit if the same thickn...

Soldering does take skill but theres no magic to it, only thing is it just takes practice and a little bit of technique. But you need the right tools, not the cheapest tools you can find, and not the cheapest solder neither. Adjusting the soldering iron to the right temperature for the work to do. L...

Why bother? Doing the work that they would have to pay others to do. Putting together a Think Tank on coming up with names.
