From what I can tell your Battery meter isn't made for your battery voltage, and that's why it always shows full. It suddenly showing is empty because the BMS has cut all power. If the battery is a 10S it should charge all the way to 42V and be empty at 30V, but since the BMS allows it to go way bel...

I wanna build a motoped(or vector vortex) frame and 19"moto wheels with a qs138 and top out at 90ish will the 138 have enough torque to be fun geared to 90mph/144kph? I really wanna have a bike thats fast for off road and have pedals to ride back home lol... 144km/h on a bicycle, hope you like...

135mm to 150mm isn't a big deal IMO just use some washers to compensate.
And yes, for your use case the the QS 205V 3 is too much if you aren't looking for trouble

If the new controller is aftermarket and only needs + and - then you can ignore the 3s wire, unless it needs a signal there to activate the BMS but I have no idea.
If it doesn't work just install a aftermarket BMS on the battery as well and you should be good to go.

That's not how that works.

Applying 12V to brake HI causes the Controller to either regen or just ignore the throttle input.
You need an existing 12V system just like on a motorcycle or car where it sends 12V to the brake lights... and the controller in this case.

In Austria there is one TÜV inspection site per state, I happen to live like 10 minutes away from one and asked once about converting a car. They just looked at me funny and said they have no clue and it's probably too much of a hassle for all of us. It seems to me like they are really old fashioned...

That cell looks beat up as hell, hope the rest don't look like that.

I know that the cell counts are configurable in the PC software, but can they be set below the range that they are advertised as being capable of handling? I'm pretty sure the QS 3K is enough to pull a small car, you just need proper gearing that's all.

How does this one compare to the Cyclone 3K, for torque grunt at low speeds? I'm pretty sure the cyclone uses a planetary gear set inside the casing, but if we compare purely motor shaft torque then the QS always wins, I don't think the cyclone can handle 25kw peaks. I'm trying to get a handle on Kv/winding vs pack voltage issues thus eliminating gearing for simplification, even if just a thought experiment. But also (just curious), isn't there an equivalent DD hub motor version of this unit? QS 205 50H for ebikes, for motorcycles they have some up to 14Kw cont.

Well of course you lose power due to friction in the motor and drive train, and not to forget electrical losses inside the motor (eddy currents).
There's also a certain rpm range where the motor runs most efficient, if it's outside that range the motor will convert a ton of energy into heat.

simple, 5000w/72V=69.44A which is pretty weak IMO.
I'm running it with 450A phase and 250A Battery, I can't even get the motor to get hot with repeated launches and hard acceleration
