Why would you want anything under 24 or 36V? 1S is simple and allows for more power dense motor designs with simplified bms. Only down side really is you have to run larger wires. Ive been a bit slack with this project recently but Ive got one phase wound on the motor. The cross sectional area is up by 15% and also an additional 2 turns so the copper fill should be a fair bit better than it was before

In star it should be 33mOhm, 54microH and 86.5kv which (I think) is 62,300erpm (based on 10 pole pairs and 72v pack)
It has a fairly sinusoidal commutation so from what Ive read it should be fairly easy to drive??
