Theoretical idea impossible? torque meter without torque meter for all motors
The reasoning arises from the fact that on all my motors (including the levo, via blewo) I have a wattmeter. This shows me that an electric motor is already a torque meter in itself ... It simply measures the force with the current draw. The more effort, the more it absorbs, the less effort, the les...

Re: help, speed control do not work on lcd05
thanks, the price in germany is really too high! I could try to put the modified software. Are the tools the same as those used for tsdz2? my ECU is this, http://www.pswpower.com/ven.php?cargo.2016-3f-33c0
do you think it is possible? Thanks so much

Re: help, speed control do not work on lcd05
thanks, the engine I use is a simple modified hub, I don't see why you should use a specific ECU ... how do they differ? it is not like a mid motor that reaches 4000rpm, currently with the control unit I use it is fine, I have only the drawback that the speed limit does not work. I will try to chang...

Re: My1018 brushless alternative?
Congratulations on experimenting, it has always intrigued me. The noise depends on both the chain and the straight teeth of the motor reducer. I know they have built a version with helical teeth but it is not easy to find. As for the power how is it compared to the tsdz2?

Re: New
The TSDZ2 doesn't really have the power to go beyond 25MPH on most bikes with 2" wide tires. Even w/o having tried it yet, but 750W peak is hardly enough to even reach 25mph (40km/h). I go relatively easy to 45 km/h on flat on my city and to 50 km/h on slight descents but with me pedaling and ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
I've got a problem with flickering headlight that is connected to the TSDZ2's light connectors. It's OK from start but when voltage drops under 50V the light gets more and more unstable. I assume this is due to crappy voltage regulator on the 6V output. Unfortunately when it gets really bad my lamp...

this is a tsdz2 motor whith a sensorles controller (from pswpower) , its not very differnt from bosch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvpPC61ZaM0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InSiMgWegt4 the problem under load are tipical of hub motor, it may happen that the controller does not understand the di...

Re: TSDZ2 open source firmware only for KT-LCD3 (v0.19.0 / v.0.20.0beta1)
version 20 beta 1 is practically perfect on lcd03. I think it would be interesting to make it compatible with lcd05, it's cheaper, small but not too much and easy to read and leaves room to put a smartphone on the handlebar. On lcd03 the voltage is 0.3v higher than the real but it is not a real prob...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
I would have some fear in advising you not to put an anti rotation bracket. I have seen many photos of split engines unfortunately.
Even pswpower has started selling only the "case" of the engine, obviously they break down otherwise it would not make sense to put that component on sale.

Keen to get updates please, as I think my sensor is gone also. Was riding, got a higher pitched grrr sound, and not the motor provides no assist ... Re/re1 readings are 90/99. My crank also had play, and prior motor was running after I had come to a stop ... seemed as though this might be a progres...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
I posted this in the OSF thread, but it was suggested here is more appropriate. I made a video demonstrating my motor concerns, sorry about the wind noise but the motor sound is important to hear. This was using v0.19 for VLCD5. I have no idea if this is normal so please tell me how this compares t...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only) for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor
Thanks re the pins, I'll check as I'm starting to think that it may be something like this. I've been doing a bit of reading on how to " waterproof" these connectors better and it really just maybe as simple as making sure we have put a few dabs of dielectric or silicone grease on the pin...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only) for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor
I would like to ask Casahino a question, I think it is better to make it visible to everyone. When the original display version of Marcoq was created, I opened another post dedicated to it. Gradually users have dedicated themselves to studying it and are improving it. It seems that soon we will have...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Where did you buy the engine? probably many other engines will have the same defect, I don't think they could have made a single axis wrong. It would be right to warn users. Perhaps the same engine is produced in different factories, perhaps under license and therefore with slightly different standa...

Re: A more expensive alternative to tsdz2
do you have a tsdz2? you should know that it is not a real 750w, it goes much less than my turbo levo which has 250w. the engine is manufactured by a famous electric motor manufacturer in Italy, it has a real torque meter, an f.o.c. software and you can speak directly to the producer. The quality le...
