I strongly suggest that you reconsider using straight-cut gears,
.. and a really top notch lube for them.
The same or worse noise level comes from cycloidal gears.
What is the top notch lube for bevel gears?

Re: bluetooth BMS?

I'm just asked here if built in gps can be used as anti-theft tracking feature. Car navigation systems exist maybe 10-20 years already without mobile network provider support.

Re: bluetooth BMS?

I have SP30S005 model.
In the app and pc software there is gps speed check function available.
How sim card module can only be related with gps functionality? Bms is not a smartphone.

Does anybody know can this bms be used to track the bike in case of theft?
There is, but as far as I can tell it's only available in China. They offer GPS tracking and remote shutdown in new Smart BMS.
Is SP30S005 this new Smart BMS?

Re: Cyclone 3000 vs CYC X1?

If your reply was related to my comment, I think the main drawbacks of such fuses are resistance and one time use. Resistance is wasted battery energy. It can be overrated to avoid such issue somehow, but breaker is better in this regard I think.

Re: Cyclone 3000 vs CYC X1?

Never saw such balancer. It's like active BMS, despite all BMSs available are passive discharge balancing type. Circuit brackers can be small enough. https://electricscooterparts.com/circuitbreakers.html https://www.worldelectricsupply.com/shop/en/p/ge-industrial-solutions-thqp140-1-pole-120-240-vol...

This is my layout choice for your consideration.

Now using 18s 18ah lipo (almost 2 years old. Not good now) and building 22s8p liion vtc5a pack.
What's your battery layout for 22S in such triangular shape?
Nucular doesn't work well with RC motors like X1 Pro, as I heard. It needs special firmware which is still not available.

Re: ENNOID-BMS for 48V to 400V lithium-ion battery pack

Is it necessary to discharge overcharged cells during balancing? Perhaps better to share the current with undercharged ones via parallel connection. But there have to be some kind of relays between cells which can act as fuses. Or share the current with neighboring cells in sequential order untill a...

Re: Serious FOCer (84V VESC 6 based controller)

If heatsink will be coupled to the bottom plate the last may flex from screws torque as it's thin and won't provide good contact area. Also there will be too much of thermal resistance between mosfet's die and external heatsink. Use the heatsink as a bottom instead. The best way would be to calculat...

Re: Serious FOCer (84V VESC 6 based controller)

You can screw the mosfets to a piece of alu or copper, than this piece to enclosure, as it's done in chinese controllers or integrate a heatsink in controller's housing.
Enclosure without heatsinking is not good, it will be hot.

2kW/5kW respectively for the Little FOCer. These numbers are at a 75V volt supply.
Can the power little one be increased to 3kW\6kW respectively? 75V will be nominal or maximum?

I thinks previous model was for Serious Focer? This one with xt60 Little Focer? You can try to lay down all film caps like elcos to make it more thinner.
Do you know any specs of SF? Power, erpm?
