Re: Working rear triangle to accommodate different hub widths. How much is too much
Create a "bolt on" solution, not a "bend to yield" solution. You can easily lessen dropout width by extending the swinger a few inches and layering the anchors. Or increase the dropout width for a wider dimension. .....like a cheap extended swingarm on a rocketbike... They make n...

Re: Balance Discharger... or is there anything else?
Dammit. Not knocking your purchase, but that charger sucks.. and the specs are all over the place. Is that like a glorified Opus charger? lol. Is it 15v? or will 14v blow it up? Says 15v, but below says over 14v will blow it up. It cannot do 6s (x) 8A balance current. nope. Can only 33w per. So ther...

Motors have a Tq./Amp number with the certain design. One vs another. Feed this much amps, get this much tq. ....put that in a rim to lever you along your way and have fun. The amount of butt dyno "umpf " this makes depends on the wheel diameter, load and how much work you put down. For th...

Re: C63 circuit breakers rattling when new?
I don't quite know what you mean, but they are individual breakers. Are you saying that the 5 pins in the side could be pushed out and replaced with pins that will combine multiple breakers together? I thought the only mechanical connection needed was simply that of the on/off switch itself? (which...

Well, you do have to spec your AC to the system you have. It does not need to be 60f inside. Oh yeah we had no idea what we were doing. ONe of those " get it done right before we actually plan anything" friends. Not a thing written down on paper. We went with 16s split into four boxes. I ...

Q's Motor lists all specs certainly. I like them. You can find them.
Or you can ask here. These people know everything. Someone here knows the answer.
Usually 23 or 16. Lol. Pretty much it.

Last rv I worked on had 220v appliances.
Shore power was 220v or 110.
We installed ( 2 @7kw) 14 kw of inverters and 30 kwh of brand new lifepo (at 6800$. ).... @48v.
It still doesn't keep up with the AC for more than a day. Lol.

Mine burnt after a year and in the bottom shell once winter set in. Blew up my CA. I had every option hooked up and running though. Dial, data, buttons, ebrakes, ect. One day it just blinked out. Grin sells a voltage regulator for this. IDK if anyone mentioned it yet. Tiny regulator. https://ebikes....

Re: What controller for 72v, 100+ amps?
If it uses current sensors, route wire (2 gauges thinner than the existing wire) in parallel with the existing wire. I did the shunt mod to one of my controllers (40 amp -> 70 amp) and it has run cool and fine for over a year. If it does, then it's time for a new controller. Could you explain the m...

More details indicate it will be 85,000 vehiles to recieve a replacement pack at a cost to Hyundai( +LG ?) of approx us$900 million ! That would imply a “factory cost” of aprox $10.5k per pack ( 64kWh) ..or $165 per kWh I believe GM are doing a similar recall/replacement on a similar number of Bolt...

let me broaden the question and give you a clue with the question that you should be asking yourself if you read these specs: what would it mean if the current has not dropped below 1/20C after the stated 3 hours with a standard charge of 1.375mA? if you get this question right you are already half...
