Re: Aliexpress. How does it work and what to expect?

I was recently ripped off. ICGOGOGOGO put 2 large metal chunks in my order, and then used the weight of the shipment to irrefutably prove he/they had shipped me the item. I couldn't believe it. I still can't. I filed, and despite my pics and explanation, Alli found in his favor :warn: Charge wires....

Re: QS 3000w midmotor

Seems unlikely, it seems like he set max rpm on the controller to 9000. It dosent sound like very high rpm to me? At 8-9000rpm my motor was screaming.. Is 20000 even possible mechanically? About the volt/amp power discussion earlier, in the log I published in my thread I have: 10:58:17;81.8;365.5;73...

Re: Yamaha YZF250F

I dont think a gas tank is a good first thing to make, but at least you have something to make a mold on. The problem is that you will have to make a split mold, that is harder. (something like mine here) Then you will have to work on the inside of the mold when making the new "gas tank", ...

It is peak, like cheap controllers usually is rated.
I dont know exactly how it works, but it should translate to about 330A rms as you say.

For 500 Arms you can look at a sevcon gen4 size6 for example.

Re: KTM 200 exc goes electric

Yes, it sure is. For me it was fast, 19min and the track is about 9km. A decent rider is a lot faster though. My friend who has ridden mx a few years, and enduro a few years (something like15-20years in total) is about 2min faster I think. I dont know exactly, earlier in the season under harder cond...

Re: Votol EM-100 & EM-150 controllers

Yes, bartosh did somewhere in the thread.
I think it did about 470pA in the recommended max settings, and 540pA in absolute max settings.
That is with the older model em 150sp, not the newer with the odd feald weakening settings.

Ok, I did a little video of a lap today.
It is not from the track we were talking about, this is the track I have ridden most.
It was very dry today, so not much mud and water.

No, it cant be your bms or battery if you have stable voltage while accelerating.

Re: enormous loss of max speed / acceleration at around 71 volts.

Are the controllers programmable? It sounds like you have a amp limit a few volts before lvc. There usually are, at least on decent controllers. But it seems like in your case it might be set a little high in the voltage range. Do you know your lvc? (at what voltage your controllers completely cut o...

Re: Conversion of a Bultaco Sherpa

If you can it would be better to move the fuse as close to the battery as possible. That way you will have wiring etc after the fuse, and protected in case of damage. Now you are only protected if something happens in or on the controller, or in the motor and wiring between the motor and controller....

Re: QS203 3T Sabvoton 72100 need more low speed power?

If you had posted your settings it would have been easier for someone who knows sabvoton to suggest changes. There are a lot of sabvoton threads here, so you can probably find a lot of answers in some of them. Do you mean that you have a QS 205 50h 3t? In that case, bottom line is that you have a wa...

Re: QS 138 70H with Gearbox

*ehrm* indicate a winding change where 60*70/90*(20/16) gives kV 58 for the 90H with some basic assumptions behind. I get all the other things you said, but not really this calculation. I can do the calculation and get the result, 58,3333. So 60x70 is 60kv for the 70h? And then divided by 90 for 90...

I wish you could both stop fighting about this, we are all learning from each other here.. From what I understand you are supposed to determine kv from back emf or how it was. But when I only tested no load rpm to get close I got about 60 on the 70h from what I remember. How is your kv for the 90h d...

Re: how about a 3d printer section?

I think it would be nice to have a 3D printer section. I don't think forum threads with tens of pages that you have to dig through are a great way to share information. I also don't really see a problem with a slightly inactive forum section. It's just another bit of text for people to scroll past ...
