Re: Accidental ebike newbie with controller and battery questions

I've got an option to buy a new 36V10AH 250-350w Li-ion bottle cage battery for £100 ($130) which I might take up then. Seems like a good deal for UK prices. There are no good deals when it comes to batteries. Getting what you pay for is as good as it gets. However, there are plenty of bad deals. $...

Re: Different power levels 8 pin 6 pin dispays.

Maybe , but the power level is confusing, you press the + - buttons to adjust power level , but that brings up the wheel circumfurance setting. How do you progress on to power level? Not sure, but what happens if you press the + - again, after getting to the wheel circumference settings? Either tha...

Re: Upgrade old battery or get new one?

You can probably get 17Ah from good cells, in a pack of that size. Unless you have the equipment to test cells and assemble the pack (spot welder, etc), then getting a new pack seems to make more sense, unless the bike uses a proprietary pack and interface with the bike controller.

Have you messed with the "power select" parameter, and maybe have it set low on the VLCD6?

Re: Electric scooter 1500W controller cold temperatures cutting out

Hello, I've found the issue! FINALLY :p As it turns out, noone was right, it is not the controller nor the battery problem. I've had a chance to test my friend's LCD (with throttle), and it works flawlessly with his LCD (brand new one). Now I've started to troubleshoot the problem, and my hall effe...

Battery 48volt Litium ion.
It might be helpful if you would provide the capacity of your battery rather than just the voltage.

Re: New type of PAS. Is it faulty?

The one you mentioned works fine. The one I had originally was made from a single piece of plastic or 2 pieces welded together . The KT-V12 is made from 2 distinctly separate pieces and therefore obviously turns like you would expect. That's good news, thanks for closing the loop. If you have...

Maybe just switch to a cheap regular derailleur instead of the clutched type. With a rear hub, you barely shift anyway.

Re: Trouble shoot me!

E-hp, I unplugged the CA and tried it. It did the same exact thing: a 1/10 second surge and then nothing, with the controller still flashing those 4 LED flashes. Makes sense. Reading the manual, seems like the Cycle Analyst V2.23 shouldn't be a factor, unless it had a short, or was limiting throttl...

Re: Trouble shoot me!

The system is set up so that one has to be pedaling and moving (wheel spinning) in order for the assist to come on. This curious thing happens: Nearly every time I switch on the power (CA lights up, red led shines on controller) and then pedal and spin the wheel, the motor clicks on for maybe 1/10t...

Re: Walmart Hyper e-ride: Controller Swap Suggestions

Phaserunner will easily fit in the space, works with voltages from 24V to 72V, and paired with a Cycle Analyst 3, you'll have plenty of upgrade potential/options. You can set the current limits so you don't kill your stock battery right away, but ready for upgrading to likely any level that you'll ...

Thanks for that tip, but I cannot find it anywhere. Firstly, it is hard to know what is the 'last screen' and I could not find any option to restore. I see on the screen shots in this thread, a button that says "load default parameters". Not sure if that's it. https://endless-sphere.com/f...

I believe resetting the CA3 wouldn't make a difference, since you made the changes in your baserunner software. Did you try resetting the controller software (restore)?

Re: wiring up 3 switches

Not sure where the XT60 is located, but I'd advise minimizing the number of battery voltage wires running to the handlebars, especially if you aren't fusing. In other words, locate the XT60 at the bars and branch out from there. You can add a fuse where it branches from the XT90 to protect the circu...

I don't see a setting called motorpower in the manuals. Where did you see this?
