Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Still waiting on the new controller to arrive since I fried it with faulty firmware almost 3 months ago. I had to buy another bike, folding one to use this good weather. I'm closely watching this thread so I can figure out which firmware versions are safe for tsdz2+sw102 but I'm still puzzled. Can w...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Would it be possible to add similar functionalities to freewheel bikes. When you rotate pedals backwards to immediately stop the motor. This could help with overrun and gear changing, to prevent damage to the bluewheel when shifting. With the coaster brake version of the motor, turning the pedals b...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

That's not completely true. I've fried my controller 7 days ago with the 0.55 firmware. Mentioned that few pages back. I lost track of which firmware version is working correctly. On my 4 ebikes, I have most all of them damaged so the only solution is to find and solve the issue. The working firmwa...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hi all. I've fried my controller by trying to update to v0.56 TSDZ2 FW. Maybe it's your motor that has a problem? maybe one of your wadings has a short spire? People did not report here any issues with damaging the controller because of the new firmware. Unless it's your PWM got crazy because of th...

Re: firmware v0.6.8 issue

Second I have twice had it where I turn the system on and after it is fully on I put my feet on the petals and start to petal and the motor surges the the whole system shuts off. I can repeat this continually. To fix it I have to go back into the settings menu select something then exit and restart...

Re: firmware v0.6.8 issue

Thinking I should have posted this here so sorry for the double post over on the other TSDZ2 thread. Hello all, I finally got my TSDZ2 installed and love it. I have the latest v0.6.8 and v0.55.0 installed and I have a couple issues. First I have the motor surge while coming out of the settings menu...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

One of the wires coming from controller to the display has original battery voltage, in my case 48v. I've got dc-dc step down voltage converter with usb that I'm planning on wiring to that wire to be able to charge various things while on the move, such as phone. Any ideas what kind of current this ...

Re: Hardware temperature control tsdz2

I put 10 mm thick pad on the same position, on The Dahon that I am building for my wife. I cut one strip of 10 mm thick metrial (100 x 300 mm), found out that when you strech it and wrap around the stator, it behaves like a mixture of clay and rubber, so It shrinks back with a bit of delay, just en...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Another thing, motor is resisting pushing the bike back (when unpowered). So I would say there is a short circuit on the motor coils or on the 3 motor phase wires. Disconnect the phase wires from the motor controller and test again. The motor will resist to turn by hand while it is in short circuit...

These thermal pads I got from Ali are like clay, easy to shape and remove when necessary. ... Which thickness has you used there. And only around the cor or also between top/bottom of the motor and case You can see the exact place where it's used in the picture. Didn't want to put much more before ...

Anyone willing to sell 48v controller in Europe?

Pswpower will send the one I ordered in a month, who know when it's going to arrive.

Great work casainho! sw102 0.6.8 and tsdz2 0.55.0 no more sudden motor pulls, can confirm. Much more responsive menu surfing now with fast clicks. One thing that remains as an issue for me is sw102 freezing when trying to enter "torque sensor" sub-menu. Great! Has the issue with getting motor assis...
