Nice work, so many triangles. Is the pedal hanger and head tube a bolt on arrangement? I assume you'll produce two of these as largest components of the chassis?
Any lessons in the machining that would inform future designs?

I too have been looking for high amperage crimp bullet connector to eliminate increased resistance and wire breakage associated with soldering and solder wicking. I wouldn't worry about the heat distortion in the FUTR frame. If anything it's a sign of good penetration in the weld and higher quality material.

Set the flogometer (hammer) to 10 and give it an adjustment. Seriously though the manufacturing tolerance on these frames is all over the place. Fortunately with a steel frame you can fix it yourself without major problems. You might want to use a press or some threaded rod to pull it into spec. Bot...

As you say "it works pretty good" and IMO it's pretty dam beautiful too. Such a tidy, clean, and low maintenance build. I like it and details like the seat, forks and color make it really nice. Great work and glad to hear it meets you needs albeit a little small.

Could you carve one out Delrin or a similar thermoplastic? At a stretch some automotive bushings may work.
