Re: Laptop Power Supplies for Bulk Charging?

That is cool, I understand that. I think I am leaning towards that. Your 20-60V adjustment is very wide for the PSU. You got any clue if that 20-60V PSU is CC or CV or both? What Amperage ratings were your Laptop Power Supplies, you keep them low ~1A, or are they like 5A's? Keep the laptops PSU's al...

Re: 2 60v 20a lifepo4

I remember this from electrical class.......its amps that kill, not voltage. However DC current will make a single continuous contraction of the muscles compared to AC current, which will make a series of contractions depending on the frequency it is supplied at. In terms of fatalities, both kill bu...

Re: 2 60v 20a lifepo4

Batteries connected in series you add the voltage of each battery.
Batteries connected in parallel you add the amp-hours of each battery.

Anything close to or above 100Vdc is very deadly!

They got Home Depots in Costa Rica? Nice! I guess they are kind of like Walmart, spreading everywhere.
Good to see you hopefully got it fixed.

Re: The compact SUPERCHARGER for E-bike !

Was looking all night last night on those chargers. Wasnt really paying attention but the prices were $500+, in the kW range, unsure what the voltages and amps were but I can re-look. Yeah there it is 48V 42A, $500. Its from a company I will probably buy mine from. You can filter the results too. BT...

What are the stats for a business to fail? within 5yrs? What is the normal rental period for commercial property? 5 yrs? The business itself could have been a "front", take for example an ethnic restaraunt that changes its name every few years. Same owners at the register and taking orders...

Laptop Power Supplies for Bulk Charging?

I have been literally searching all day for decently priced psu's for bulk charging my 4S hardcases. I found a place that sells psu's of all makes and models with varying voltages, amperages and prices. So I figure buy a power supply unit that is close to 16.6V as possible, and at 3,4 or 5A and bulk...

Re: Yescomusa.com 500 & 1000 watt 48v rear kit review

Where did you buy your 22P's from? Last summer I read everything I could find on the different 18650 batteries. I also looked at purchasing 15, Turnigy 500mAh 5s, 20c to make a 15s, 5p, 25Ahr pack. The current commuter battery pack, with an assortment of 1 and 2 year old Turnigy 6s and 3s units, was...

Thanks etrike I am always fooling around with the sim. Litespeed - I got the same 18fet as you I think, I bought the 18 FET Low RDS MOSFET Overclocker Ready LYEN Controller $199. The specs say 18 x genuine IRFB 4110 MOSFET N-CH 100V (tested up to 110V before damage) for more information about the FE...

I was where you were at; so do not be cheap on charging method(s). I just found that adj. Vout 13.8v~18v DC HK 540W on my own, at 30A its decent for bulk charging. Its very quick. Plus for me there Im only using 500W total. Plus if you buy the iCharger 208B you get a double packed "Whammy"...

I just realized I got the speed motor, 16x4T 448rpm 8.93kv. What will the changes be in me going to a smaller diameter wheel, like a 22" or 24" as far as the speed decreasing and my torque increasing. How much will my speed decrease, and how much will my torque increase? I seriously dont l...

You could also go with yescomusa.com or leafbike.com or ebikes.ca or em3ev or the low brow bsmbattery.com - for your motor, controller and battery purchases. Go direct drive motor for the silence and a bottle battery for stealth and weight management (keeping the battery weight close to the crank), ...

I know exactly how my cheap a$$ geared unit does. I will get back to you in a little bit.

Im kicking it now.
