ecitypower emcharger 12v fan problem

This charger appears to be " charging " but the fan won't kick in.. I put a CA inline with the charge wire and it does pump 4 amps ( 160w ) to the battery, but the fan never kicks in and i'm sure it's just a matter of time before it fries without the fan...... I pulled the fan and gave it ...

woops..

It's a Sony RX100 v4 , can do 950 or so fps .. most things slow down well at 240 fps and the file size is more manageable .. but it's fun to mess around with !

And Marty, no guns in this house lol.... already too many dangerous things as it is..

This would be a curse only a fool would wish upon themselves.

It would be less of a burden in your life to have a jousting pole lanced through you.

Re: Multistar High Capacity 6S 16000mAh

My trike is due for a new pack, 100v ( 24 cell ) and needs to dish out 80 amps .. .. the big multistar 20ah packs are tempting to make clean wiring.. ..... but i've had good luck with the 5ah 20~25C turnigy packs.. not so much with the zippy that tend to die after a few years, regardless of cycle co...

Re: Bionx 24v Li discharge port, voltage question

Good question, the bike is at the bike shop so i'll have to zip over and try that.

Was hoping someone here with a known-good bionx battery could probe it quick and let me know if the discharge port is live when not connected to the bike

Bionx 24v Li discharge port, voltage question

Hi guys. Local bike shop asked me to drop in and check a few Bionx bikes with issues ( season start lol ).. On an older 24v Lithium ( 250w system, white display ) the charge port shows 28v so the pack is charged up... however the system will not start ... when i check the voltage at the discharge po...

Re: Does anyone have experience of controller tester units?

they are quick and easy to use for those unfamiliar with using a DMM, i use a DMM all the time for battery testing and checking for broken wires etc but testing a motor phase and hall sensors, as simple as i'm sure it is to do.. i'm kinda clueless and unsure of what i'm doing, while this gizmo is ne...

Re: Does anyone have experience of controller tester units?

not really..

it will confirm if motor is ok.. if controller is ok.. if hall sensors are ok... if throttle is ok...... but it will NOT tell you what combination colors to match up.. at least i have not figure how .. if it does.

a2b motor reassemble.jpg So, got the controller gutted out, cut and resoldered the motor phase wires to 12 awg teflon with crimps.. Put new SKF bearings in there as the freewheel side bearing was gritty and had locked up, replaced both. Tested the hall sensors, good... soldered some leads, shrink w...

it's plastic end caps onto aluminum shell so no welding there.... i did try the heat gun method to warm up the metal, enough that adhesive should have softened up but not excessively..

still trying.

I use a large 10 ml syringe, dremeled off the sharp end of a large gauge needle and use rubbing alcohol, it works good and dries quickly afterwards, never use oil ( the damn grips won't stay put, dangerous !! ) Air compressor first, if the grips have been cut to install bar end mirrors etc i use the...
