I don't know if this has been posted elsewhere but I will assume otherwise. I'm sure some members have already heard about the group, Anonymous, and their threat to destroy Facebook by viral means.
Normally, I wouldn't listen to any dubious organisation claiming infringement of privacy and I am highly dismissive of any of the wild and erroneous claims that circulate on Facebook. Nevertheless, something that caught me eye, and is apparently true, is that people who use Facebook via their phone automatically publish all of their phone contacts for all and sundry to see.
Seemingly, you have to turn off the contacts syncing setting in your account as it is not the default option. It is things like this that make me question the validity of Anonymous claims. There may be more than a hint of truth to what this group is saying.
What are you thoughts?
