"Ledgends" thread locked ?

Why ?
Yet another trigger happy mod with access to the lock key !
Why dont you even give an explanation ?
Sure, the thread went way off topic, and dived into a petty squabble, but to lock it for all is extreme
I would prefer you simply delete offending posts (with an explanation) ....or offer the poster the option of self edit/delete or suffer a ban ...if you really consider the post to have crossed the line .

Here.. i'll cross it too.... have a week off.

Listen folks.. when we lock something up.. just leave it be and move on. Questioning our actions every single time with postings to cry about it, does not make our job any easier, and just serves to make us stress over taking ANY action down the road.. then people bitch because not enough gets done.... like.. seriously, there is no need for this.

Edit no.2: If you MUST contest a moderator action, please do it via PM, to X moderator or any of the other's... we all get along, but nobody is beyond reproach and we don't owe each other anything, so it's not like that... don't start a thread please.
