36v to 48v controller can’t get it to move ???mini quad (36v 800w)

hi all I’m getting no power from the plug on the speed controller does this mean the controller is no good ? Or do I have to jump some wires ? Any help is mega appreciated

What wires are you referring to?

Which wires do you currently have connected, and to what, exactly? A diagram would be best, but you can describe it in words if they are sufficiently descriptive.

What battery do you have?

What voltage is the battery at while plugged into the controller?

What voltage is the battery at while not plugged into the controller?

What motor do you have? (is it brushed, or brushless? It has to be the same kind as the controller)
