I've enjoyed seeing various builds here over the years (especially jonescg's racebike build thread). I had to create a new user account as I couldn't change my old profile name (BrammoBrian), which seems inappropriate now as Brammo was consumed by Cummins and I now work at Zero. Anyway - Here's a little side project I've been working on that finally made it on track last season. I thought those here might enjoy readying through the blog, which is still a work in progress.

If you missed what happened last season, here's a recap: https://www.lightfighter-racing.com/post/lightfighter-version-1-lfr19

Enjoy! Thanks for checking it out!

Hey Brian! Looks great :) What's under the fairings?
Clever placement of the motor there too. Always a pest to get that mass of copper and steel somewhere convenient.

Thanks! Big improvement this season was raising the whole MGU by about 25mm. You can find quite a lot of detail on the build on my blog site here: https://www.lightfighter-racing.com/post/building-lightfighter-v2-0, but here's a couple of photos from the last tests...

Very impressive!
But could you do a more geeky, techy review of the drive train, battery pack, motor and controller set up for us? 8)

Thanks for fixing the video link! Sure thing. Maybe send over a list of questions to answer? Post them here or Email me at: Brian@lightfighter-racing.com

Sorry, I hadn't read your blog yet and it seems there is a lot of info in it. I'll be reading through it in the coming days. Again: a very impressive build and if the future of electric motorcycle racing will be like this and better (higher energy density solid state battery packs mostly) then it will be a bright one 8)
