Hi!
Racking my brain here -- I'm converting a Motobecane Moby and trying to do everything bolt on so I could reverse back to gas if ever desired.
The controller I'm using takes a 0-5v signal for throttle. Obviously I could purchase an electronic throttle but I want to keep the stock Moby throttle as it's integrated with the brake lever.
Does anyone know of a 'sensor' that I could attach the throttle cable to, that would provide the spring resistance the cable needs to snap back to 0, and output a signal of some sort? I happened upon 'displacement sensors' but they seem to measure how far a rod is pushed into a body, I think what I would need is a rod being 'pulled' from a body and being measured / outputting 0-5v.
Thanks!
