I have this china e scooter (moped thing) that was bought for very cheap
It started life as 48v lead acid with a tiny hub motor and 25a controller.
I have since upgraded it with a large china controller (50a 120v foc if I remember right)
It went much better with the new controller but didn't have the power I really wanted so now I have 22s lion (spim08hp cells). It will eventually get 28s
I am looking for recommendations on a new motor and eventually a new controller. Needs to be able to cope with 120v max (about 103v nominal) and loads of current. Preferably over 100a of constant current
I'll probably upgrade the battery with a bunch of 18650 cells from drills.
I'll post pictures when I remember. On a little time crunch atm
The bms recorded a little over 10kw going into it at one point but I think much of it just goes into heat haha. Still feels pretty quick and top speed (70kmh) feels about right. I just want far more launch power. If it throws me off then I'll be happy as a clam.
