Temperature probe reads high.
This bike is a beast. Tons of acceleration. Still testing and need to make the temperature probe read correctly. With a cold motor the controller reads 89degrees C ambient temperature 15degree C

I, and many others on here, would love to see more photos and details of your project!
And if temperature/heat is a problem look up "Statorade" and "Ferrofluid" on this forum. It can keep your hub motor cool while feeding it more amps :twisted:

Awesome build, very clean looking. I have heard that the temperature coefficient setup can be messy or non-functional, I would check the far driver thread here on ES.

Some questions:
What cells are those, and how are they secured in the battery tray? Also, how was the setup on the fardriver controller and how is it working? Any J1772 charging capabilities? I think the thunderstruck charger you're using can take 240v and 110v.
 
The cells are 3.7V 42ah 24s 3p
The cells are tape together and fit snug in the box. QS did the setup of the controller to motor at the factory and said it paired very well. The bike does have the J1772 located at the front left side and is dual voltage.

What is a charge rate? ate you able to do at the 220v@30apms?

Have you done a range test?

I am thinking about doing a similar build. I need to be able to cruise at 80mph for about 40 miles. Are you able to reach and stay at 80mph?
