Hello everyone everyone knows a way to recharge a 72v battery with a 2000w-3000w charger or more as light as possible to linteger my bike.
I found this if someone has a better idea
https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/4000192540976.html?spm=a2g0s.8937460.0.0.3d3a2e0ejfyZjZ

if there is a charger that can be plugged into a conventional electrical outlet and into electric car charging sockets it would be great

thank you

Buy a second-hand product, Delta 4856AC, can be modified 0 ~ 120V / O ~ 25A

APR48 3G, DC41V~80V,0~38A

you have the links to buy some I can't find the models you give me or they are not at the right voltage for my battery I have a 72v battery so 84v fully charged

https://www.google.com/search?q=APR48-3G+datasheet

Looks like 43V minimum *2S will be just a bit too high voltage, so use a HVC?

best to discuss it in an an existing discussion thread, lots here already on ES

up to 8kW, if you want to murder your cells even more.

please not that you WILL create LOTS of heat in your battery and cause a thermal "issue" (aka: massive fire) if you dont watch the internal temperature of your battery. it is VERY possible to burn down your bike with a 2kW or bigger charger. lifepsan reduction i wont even start about...

Link doesn't work for me, any alternative path?

Maybe some unique name or text to google?

No go, maybe their website tech team stayed home

Trying this

Yes can find the store no problem, but not the charger (PSU), deleted the app still no go.

Never mind could be my setup,

dont use the app, just use your pc.

Perhaps this will work.

If not, go to the vendors online store and look on the left to narrow the scope of the search and click "S-2000W 3000W 5000W" then go to page 2 of the results for the 8kw version.

Yes that one works, thanks

As does this googling https://bit.ly/2U3DxV0

This does not work:

The C-rate being too high will shorten your pack lifespan, especially when the cells aren't very warm.

So besides ambient temperature or ability to pre-heat the pack

its size in Ah will determine how powerful a charge current to use.

Ideally your charger allows for adjustment of both voltage and current so you have choices depending on the circumstances.

Plus the safety concerns flippy expressed.

eiter should be mandatory if you plan on doing something if you dont know if those cells can even take the "fast" charging currents while being confined in a pack.

...and for the quick charger on the go with no time to sit around monitoring things...

automatic is just for lazy people.

but FE-36 is nice stuff. i still got old style halon in my car and kitchen. 8)

in your opinion you can use the charging coil with all the controller or you have to go through the adapter controller

Translation:

Is it possible to use this Adaptto "charging coil" with other controllers, or is it designed so that it only works with theirs?

Charge coil was used exclusively by Adaptto as far as I am aware. No other controller that I know of can or does utilize one for charging.

no.

it still requires a low voltage DC power supply and uses the controller as a current and voltage control.

its a nice idea but stupid in practice.

Since we're on the subject, the Adaptto required the coil while the Nucular does not yet both seem to be able to charge from a wide range of dc sources.

Did having that coil allow the Adaptto to do something that the Nuc is unable to do, or did Nuc just figure a way around it?

My best uneducated guess would be the Adaptto being able to effectively trigger the PSU on and off (so to speak) where the Nuc would just keep absorbing current, but I'm wildly guessing there. Something I've wondered for a while but haven't seen discussed that I can recall.

The Nucular uses the motor coils to increase the charge voltage. Not sure why the Adaptto used a separate coil instead. It looks like the Adaptto charge coil also had the capacitors as part of that harness though:
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=66661

In my understanding, they both use the same process. Google "boost converter", and then note the similarities to the Nucular controller schematic:
View attachment Nucular Controller Schematic v2.5.pdf

I don't know if the Adaptto terminates charge. Currently the Nucular doesn't terminate charge, but Vasiliy said it will been added to their to-do list, so it will be available in a future firmware update. It won't control the charger directly, it will just disconnect it from the battery at a predetermined charge level.
