Hi.

Can someone please explain to me in diagramme form exactly where each wire goes or link me into a video or picture tutorial.

I think I have it sorted but would really appreciate some confirmation as above. Currently I'm not getting the readings I expect.

My 9 pin wire is 8 black and one red. On the video I have seen it says the negative is on the far left, then wire 2 goes on to the s1 +ve, wire 3 on to the s2+ve etc. I am using this on a 7s pack so guess the 8th wire is redundant, what happens to the 9th wire on the right in my case red on the right?

What is puzzling me is that if I put the 1st wire on the 1st -ve and the 2nd wire on the 1st +ve on 2 of the packs I've made I get no reading, if I put the 2nd wire on the 2+ve I get the reading I would expect for the s2 pack.

But on other packs I have or have made the BX100 works as expected and I get a reading from the s1 pack.

Have a look at the pictures and see If I have done anything wrong. The mauve pack works fine on s1. The pink packs don't

All cells have the appropriate amount of charge in them the. Pinks are all new and at 3.5v and the mauve are at 4.2v

EDIT TO ADD.... I have now tried the BX100 on all pink batteries I have some in packs glued ready to be welded so still all single cells, and some brand new ones in their box. None of the pink ones will show a reading in the BX100 but I have noticed there is the faintest of glows from the left hand display digit. The multimeter says 3.5v But works perfectly on the blue ones.

TIA
