BMS has two extra sense wires, B+ and DS-

This BMS I bought seems to have two extra sense wires labeled B+ and DS-.
B+ is shorted to BC13 so I would imagine that B+ connects to the battery +, but if they are shorted what is the point of having it?
DS- is not shorted to BC0, it's shorted to P- so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with this wire. What does DS stand for?

That jack could be used for a charger input, if your signal tracing is correct.
