Hi all,
Does anybody know of some waterproof 12v to 230v 50hz inverters?
It would be great if there is a charger in there as well, but it is quite easy to find a seperate waterproof 12v charger.
By waterproof I mean something like at least IP54.
I just have a hard time finding any waterproof inverters. Sure, it is not very typical, but they must exist.
Probably using the wrong search words, but I get overflown anyway with regular inveters.
I only found the Studer XTS 900 inverter, which isn't very powerful. It seems to be the same as the Steca XTS 900.
Of course there must be more. I thought about industrial use, but that is typically 48v I think.
I need to have 1000W continous power output. Of course more is always nicer, I would like 2000W but it might get to bulky.
Alternatively, I could package a non waterproof inverter in a waterproof box, but I wonder if that would work. Because they are typically designed with a fan.
I know it would be easier to find a different location, but that is not the discussion right now.
Thanks in advance.
