As the title suggests, how feasible is the matching of a Torqueedo or E-propulsion electric outboard, with a battery not manufactured from them?

I currently have a 14S36P LiIon battery pack, maybe I'll purchase a 14S1P CATL LiFePo4 one too, but I'm wondering if they're a good match. How limited is the 48V rating on the outboards? Obviously, my batteries when fully charged will be around 58V. Is that a problem?

Does anyone around here have any experience using their own battery with a system like that? Sorry if it's a duplicate post.

Well to answer my own post, no, it's not an issue.

Someone from the forum also does the same thing, and in general, E-Propulsion said it's fine after I contacted them.

Cheers myself, you didn't blow up anything

Hi, please tell a bit more about your project.
I'm curious which epropulsion unit you are using, and the voltage of your battery system.
also, any other tidbits of info you might think are useful to a sailor looking to power a navy 3.0 with a non epropulsion battery..
Thanks
