Can I switch from 810 to SW900 LCD speed controller?

This is my first post on here.
I bought an ebike with 36v 500w 10Ah that has an 810 speed controller 2 months ago and the new model came out with a 36v 500w 12Ah and a SW900 LCD speed controller. So I’m wondering if I can buy and put a SW900 on mine without upgrading anything else?

If your 810LED was a 5 wire model, the SW900 display might work.

Is this an ebikeling kit? He used to sell a controller with a four wire 810LED display and also a controller with a SW900. You could not switch displays. The 4 wire 810LED is not digital. Now his latest kits, at least the one I got last December, use a 5 wire 810LED, and I can plug in an SW900 and it runs the controller. Doesn't help me though. His SW900 doesn't show speed for geared motors when they're coasting.
