Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right forum...
I've just finished a simple build mating a Bafang 750 watt rear hub motor into a Mongoose Malus bike. Everything went together relatively easily and the Bafang gear reduction motor has lots of pull from dead stop all the way to top rpm. My question is properly configuring the KT LCD3 handlebar 'head unit' (?) that is able to adjust the motor input/output via the controller.
Documentation that came with the motor/head unit/controller from China was woefully inadequate, and while the Dillenger user manual is very comprehensive it's not exactly clear on what some of the settings accomplish: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1199188/Dillenger-Kt-Lcd3.html
So... does anyone here have any experience with properly setting up the KT LCD3 for use with the Bafang 750watt hub motor?
Anyone?
thanks in advance,
Mark

What controller are you using. The LCD3 supports various functions that may or may not be available with your controller, so knowing that would be helpful (and of course with a geared hub, no regen).

the controller is the:
KT 36/48 ZWSRL-SPSLD02
also stamped on the label:
rated current: 17A
maximum current: 35+ (plus or minus 1 amp)
speed set 1-4.2V
