mismatched controller connections need help

My new controller is different than my old controller. My old one didn't have an ignition wire, had five pins going to the throttle, had a hookup for a front light. My new controller has an ignition wire, 3 pins to the throttle I assume it's made for using with a twist throttle, and no hook up for lights.

I'm fine losing the light, the speed readout, I had a high low and medium gear before I know I won't get those back. I just need it working and the battery indicator voltage thing on the LCD and the power button on the throttle. It's a trigger throttle.

Can someone help me figure out how to wire this thing up? I'd greatly appreciate it. Not anyting of an electrical or handyman type person. I will try to include as many pictures as I can.

The ignition wire I don't know what to do with that. I initially cut it off and electrical taped the remainder to the main battery wire but now I'm reading it won't turn on unless that ignition wire goes to the positive. But I don't want to always have the battery on constantly draining. I want to be able to turn off and on just like before with the on off button on the throttle. It seems like logically that ignition wire would go to the positive on the throttle?

Help! I can't even solder I just splice the cables and use electrical tape.

Do you know how to solder? Do you own a digital multi meter?

For the ignition, put a switch in line with the red wire. You can turn the switch on or off when you want.

For the throttle, you need to identify the 5v positive, ground and return wire from the throttle.

:D :bolt:

Sorry I can't help you.

BUT, I do have a question about -
The High level
and
Low level
Plugs in your picture
Anybody know what they are and how to wire them in ????????????????

Sorry I never followed back with this thread. But I'm back and I'd like to finish this up. The new controller I already attached a previous file of all the wires on it. It had three wires for the big battery wires one was the ignition switch. And it had the wrong connection. So I took off the connection on my old controller and got a friend to solder it on to here. But I cut the ignition wire short because I assumed I didn't need it my original didn't have one. But now I've read I think I need this but still I'd like to figure out oh way to use the power button on the throttle as a switch not have a separate switch you know.

I use this as a power attachment for my wheelchair to get around so I need to get this up and running again so I included more pictures. If someone could help me it would be much appreciated.

The hall plug the colors of the wires look the same but I've read looks can be deceiving with these Chinese things. And the phase wires look the same. I do not own a multimeter and I cannot solder I use electrical tape and then duct tape on top.
