Hi guys, my team and I are trying to build an electric moped using a 2kw electric hub motor. The problem is that the motor we have is for 150mm dropouts, while the swingarm we have has 210mm of gap between the dropouts. is there anything we can do to modify the current motor? I was thinking of machining some bushes on a lathe which would extend the length of the current axle and make it fit, but really open to Ideas. It's a QS 2kw hub motor, if that helps.

Make clamping dropouts, and place them inside the frame arms. The prototypes shown below are made from aluminu, the performance version should be water-jetted or laser-cut from steel/stainless steel.m

Hi, thank you for your reply, We're going to work on this as our solution, looks quiet feasible. Thank you!
