Hello,
First thanks to everyone for sharing all the great info on ebikes, I took the plunge and purchased an ebikeling 1500w waterproof kit a few months ago. I'm gradually it installing on a '98 Trek 820. I've run into a few problems but mostly have found figured out fixes. One mishap resulted in a mangled cadence sensor so I need to replace it, I found this one on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0814TP6RN
It looks pretty good and because my left side bottom bracket has no lock ring it would seem to be a nice waterproof solution for me. Has anyone tried this sensor? It's not clear to me how many magnets it uses but maybe none? It's a bit expensive too but, heh, what the heck!
Thanks for reading,
