Hi Ebike lovers,

I need some help with fitting a Bafang Brake Sensor BBS02B Motor to a Dc input 2 wire brake system from a maguro mt2 set :p .
I don't want to cut it up just yet I want to know if its possible and wont break the system or hall sensors.

The Bafang brake cut off has 3 wires, from memory red, blue and black. The Magura has Dc jack input as the connector but im sure its 2 wires connecting to it? I believe it came from the polaris ev511 or the Stromer ST1 Platinum Electric Bike as they shared the same system mostly. so if anyone knows or knows someone that might know, how that works lol

Just want to be safer as this is a bafang BBS02B Motor system and the throttle has some lag and with peddle assist. so don't want any accidents into people, which I have came close too but luckily still using the other stock ebrake and one mt2 brake for stopping power, just want better feel and less complexity hahah :S .

Thanks :bigthumb:

Probably it's quite straightforward to connect. Bafang connector has +5V, ground and brake signal wires. Search for a diagram for the pinout, but note that wire colours might be different depending on the manufacturer. 2-wire sensor you connect to 5V and brake signal lines and polarity makes no difference.

These may help...

If you are still using the stock settings on your BBS02B then it will be a great improvement to reprogram it with the programming cable and custom settings. See:

Yeah that might be another Project, ill do for sure lol. but since I got the parts gonna get this done and might do it on my free time. I really appreciate the help and showing me the other people making this super awesome platform better :D

Thanks SlowCo :bigthumb: :es:
