Tail/Brake light ?

Hello all,
Getting into Ebikes and just bought my second one. It's a Jupiter Defiant. I was wondering is anyone knew if there was a way to wire a tail light into it? Or one step further a brake light? At first I was thinking of just finding out the voltage of the headlight then splice off that, but if there is a better way off the controller I'd rather go that way. Any ideas? Thanks

According to their website your bike has a tail light under the seat. Is that wired into a wiring harness or is it a separate rechargeable one? If it's not wired in you could splice into the headlight wires but you'll need to find out the voltage and find a suitable light.
Brake light's another matter altogether. You'll need to figure out how your brake lever motor cutoff switches work. I can't seem to find it now but there's a thread here that goes into detail on the subject.
