Hi All,

I've recently acquired a bricked eBike sporting a DU-E6001 Shimano motor.
I'm in the process of converting it to an external motor controller and I'd like to piggyback on the cadence and/or torque sensor that are already present.

  • Torque sensor : it has a 5 wires connector, when the main board is powered-up, two wires are supplied with an 8V voltage, the 3 others I don't know yet.

  • Cadence sensor : it also has a 5 wires connectors, I get 5V between the ground and three of them. The fourth one is unkown so far. However, I have no clue what they could be since the cadence sensor seems (mechanically at least) to only be able to give a RPM information without rotation direction information

Any of you guys have some experience on how to identify the wires ?
It would be greatly appreciated!! :D

Marc
