Hello everyone,

I've been working on a water-cooled ebike for 1 years now. I’m using QS205 4T motor, Mobipus 72200 and 20s Lipo 20000 mAh from hobbyking.

Here some picture of the build :

It was working beautifully until a few days ago... while I was working on adding turn lights, my little board to turn 84v to 12v just explode. Resulting in a short cut to the controller, and I didn’t add a fuse between them...
So controller shorted... No answers when I connect it to the batt... I’ve managed to unmount the most of the build and open up the controller but, I’m not sure where I have to begin to find the faulty components...
Can someone guide me on finding the problem ?

Here the mobipus 722000 took apart with HQ pic:

Thanks !!

You had a seperate board to supply mobipus with 12V?

Or the 12V got to the mobipus via some io?

If the first, it's most likely the dcdc stage on the mobipus.

If the latter, it'll be the MCU or of your really lucky the input filters but i doubt it off it's not responding.

I can't really tell from your pictures where the dcdc is, i can't see any inductor.
