Hi, I have a stealth bomber and wanting better acceleration, how could I do this?
My battery is a BTR power 60v 25ah, Max BMS DC current is 100a its a 17s( charges at 71.4v)
My motor is a 3000w 3.5t and my controler is a 150a sabvoton controller.
I have my Max dc amps set to 100 and rated dc amps at 50a, I have my Max phase current at 180 and rated phase at 150a, do I need to change any of these for improved acceleration? Cheers 🙂

You could increase amps across the board, if your battery can handle it. In this example, acceleration increases 34% at 20 mph:

Or, you could increase amps AND volts, which increases acceleration 72% at 20 mph in this example:

Thanks for the info, I tried increasing my battery amps slightly from 50 to 60a and bms cut out instantly under load 😂😂

Sounds like your aging (and insufficient for your setup) battery pack is your limiting factor, so to really improve acceleration you will likely have to replace it or add another in parallel with it.

Pretty much anything you could do to increase acceleration will take more power to do that, which your battery does not have available, if it is cutting out like that.

Thanks for the reply, I haven't got much room inside the frame for a much bigger battery, I'm in the UK would you recommend any good quality batteries, either 60v or 72v, the one I have is 25ah, the bms cut out when I increased the rated DC current should I try increasing the max DC to see if it makes a difference? The bms isn't stupid it knows exactly what I'm doing 😂😂😂
