Hello, World!
I am trying to identify the manufacturer of this controller to see how I might communicate with the controller for parameter configuration in a GUI that shows all parameters. Pictures attached. Text reads:
(I "think" it is Bafang)
PT-58.8V-CAN-A
LF9CGA-220202355
This 58.8v/22A controller uses CANBUS with a blind GUI to flash the configurations - you start the GUI, pick a file, start the flash, THEN plug-in the controller (and hope you did it within the five seconds timeout of the GUI), the GUI sends data to the controller on CANBUS, but the GUI only reports pass/fail at the end of sending its data (including that possible timeout error mentioned above).
I have worked with async/serial ports on controllers, like Kelly Controllers, which have a proprietary GUI for reconfiguration, and an unknown controller that had a serial/async port that sent configs to my terminal and allowed me to make and test changes before writing the parameters "permanently" to the controller. CANBUS in a controller is new-to-me.
Thank you for helping, and to this board for being here.
