I have a 42v charger it’s light solid green and i check reading by multimeter its 42v but when i charge battery the light didn’t turn to red ,,, i check the battery with another charger it’s working

The most common problem is the connector or wiring between charger internals and where it plugs into the battery. What voltage do you read at that connector when not plugged into the battery?

Did the charger ever work?

I'd open it up and take a close look inside. The problem may be obvious. If there are any connectors inside, unplug and reconnect them to break through any oxidation. Look for burned spots, cracks and bad solder joints.

If there is nothing visible, it may be challenging to troubleshoot without a schematic.

You can post pictures of the board and we might be able to spot something.
