Hey guys! I finally got a YK43 I can play around with and not be afraid to blow it if something goes wrong :) I'm hoping to push ~100V through it, and 200A+. It's a tall order, no doubt, but seeing that a member here peaked it at 105A stock, I'm confident it shouldn't be an overly complicated task x]

The capacitors are rated at 100V 470uF, so completely ditching those for larger 200V caps. I'm confused on one aspect however: there are 6 "main?" MOSFET's, K3435B's (60v, 80a)... and then two HBR20100 MOSFETs (I think?). What exactly do the HBR20100's do? Should I upgrade them as well?

^ Documentation for the K3435B :)

I'm also assuming I'll have to change the resistors so I don't overvolt and blow the TL494CN "IC"?

Cliffs:
What type of FET's to change out the K3435's with?
What do the HBR20100's do in the controller?
Which resistor do I change/swap out for protecting the TL494?
Can somebody PLEASE explain the VGS/VDS/Ciss and all of them MOSFET terms :\
