Happy new year everyone!
Calling all DIY EV enthusiasts on the island of Ireland (and Wales?).
I'm organising a family friendly meetup which will be held at the Tog Hackerspace Dublin on Sunday the 26th of February from 14:00-16:00 (2 to 4 pm).
I'll be there earlier and the place is open anyway. Tog hope to co-host it with an engineering event. Slow charging is possible on site. The nearest rapid charger is at Newlands Cross Circle K
The event is on https://www.tog.ie/2023/01/diy-your-way-to-an-electric-vehicle/ (Eventbrite link, free, but you can donate there or on-site)to book & inform the general public and I hope to have as many conversions* on site as possible. I also want to invite car engineering/modification garages to raise awareness and make contacts (drifeshafts etc.).
It would also be an opportunity to swap/sell parts and maybe meet others from your area to collaborate.
