I wonder if there is any forum member that is using the 40T Lekkie ring and if the package (when/if available) comes with the steel gear/bearing assembly already attached/pressed into the cover.
I was able to find just the cover for sale separately but since i've never had any problems with my BBSHD and only opened it for greasing, i never paid much attention to the way some of the parts are put together.
I had the very unpleasant surprise to discover that both the big steel gear and the bearing that supports it are press fit into the cover.
The gear can be pulled out with 3 screws but not so eaily put back without a press of sorts but the big bearing needs some purpose built press for extraction and for being pressed back in.
At least this is what it looks like to me.
This is the reason i am trying to learn if Luna also includes in the package this steel gear/bearing assembly already pressed into the cover.
