so on both my conversions, I've had quite an issue integrating a rear trigger shifter on the right bar, with a throttle, and a v-brake lever, seeing as how most all v-brake levers are setup for 2-finger.... when you add a throttle, its a mess.

reaching that right side trigger shifter sucks, and the brake levers aren't easy to cover either.

what all do you guys do about this?

Avid's Single Digit series of brakes is meant for one-finger operation, if it helps. Or ones like the Avid Speed Dial which are fairly adjustable for the response you want out of them vs the brakes you have.

There are also integrated lever/triggershifters, that might help solve the fit problem of those two.

For the throttle, there are a few solutions, including trigger throttles, or moving it to the left side, etc.

There's several threads about handlebar control setups, some of which are in this list:

Probably some here, too, but lots of irrelevant stuff

I use a gripshifter on the left side backwards, since my throttle is on the right. It more or less has the same profile as the throttle you have on the left side.

Can't go wrong for $6

resurrecting this old thread, i just built my ebike version 3 out of my 700c hybrid. went with 8 speed rear, single speed front, and used a trigger shifter, with no ebike throttle, since the TSDZ2 is so natural feeling when riding, especially with the open source firmware...

so these are my current bar setup...
(ok, I've since moved the display closer to the middle, and added an incredibell between the display and motor control buttons, with the bell toggle where my thumb comfortably reaches...)

this setup, everything is perfect, 2-finger brakes are right where I want them, and don't crush my other two fingers when fully applied, and the thumb trigger shifters are right where I want them, easy to reach without a stretch, even downshifting via thumb while two-finger braking... the digital control is a bit high, but I don't mess with it that much when actually riding, other than maybe kicking the power levels between 3 and 4 (on a 1-10 scale)
