Tangent spindle/BB chainline adjustment possible?

I have one of the earlier gen Tangent mids. I believe the spindle/BB came from sick bike parts


I'm looking to adjust my chain line a little more to one side like Dave had shown here (only he was using components from a newer gen )


Noting the differences in the spindle/BB, will I be able to make similar adjustments to my earlier setup like he shows?

Hoping not to disassemble everything only to realize that it's not possible and I need to look at a different way to space things.

I took a mallet to the end of the spindles and it seems that there is give. I was able to align the unit to provide more offset.

Careful. It’s easy to knacker the bearings that way if you don’t use proper tooling.
