Disable the need for a speed sensor in a BBSHD?

Is it possible to disable the need for a speed sensor in a Bafang BBSHD? I am getting this speed sensor error, and the motor just shuts off.

BTW, the sensor is well connected, the little red light turns on etc... I just want to turn off the need for a sensor. Is it possible?

Just install the OpenSource firmware!!
