I googled history of BBSHD and found references of 2015/2016, so perhaps...less than 3000 miles a year? I do more than that off road on a dirt motorcycle. Still, I'm not poo-pooing that mileage on a motor in this power and price range. China isn't usually that responsive on the world stage of "make it better", but one has to give some credit to Bafang for seeing an opportunity to up the game in power and durability from the early BBS01/02 to develop the HD.
