Seems like the sensible thing to do is install a temp sensor on my new TSDZ2/OSF.

But I am not getting any warm fuzzies as I read Amazon reviews. Seems like there are a lot of unreliable sensors out there.

Can anybody recommend a supplier?

Will other sensors work?

Have you read the wiki for Tsdz2?

If you buy an original LM35 of Texas Instruments, it can't go wrong. Also another good brand is possible
The problem is with the cheap unbranded types.

For OSF you can't use another type, but you can use a separate cheap digital temperature display to read the motor temperature. People which want to keep there throttle use these.

The temperature sensor is just a start.
You must not forget to add heatconductive materials between bare motor and motorcase to improve the heat dissipation.
One of the solutions you find also in the wiki
