Play in TSDZ2 Spider

I've noticed a few mm of play in the spider of my Tongsheng motor:

I've removed the five bolts, applied blue loctite, and reassembled with torque at 5nm, but the play persists. Is this normal?

I noticed a large bearing inboard of the spider that protrudes from the motor by half a centimeter or so, maybe this needs to be pressed in some more? Alternatively, I was thinking about installing washer/spacers around the outside diameter of the bearing to stabilize.

Assuming this is the cause for the noise I presently hear only when pedalling at top speed, I'll wait till it gets worse before fiddling with it.
