HELP
I have a sabvoton 72v 150amp which the red led light flashes constantly. Any idea what the issue is?

Notoriously hard to (re-) program correctly.

I would like to find a source to purchase that offers good tech support, long after warranty has passed. Even if paying for a support contract is required.

Otherwise I think I will avoid the brand.

Same with ASI/BAC apparently.

Real business opportunity here for someone, seems like these makers only care about OEM bike builders, not DIY individuals.

Is that with the cable connected to your computer? Or the controller by itself?


Once I got past setting up my Sabvoton, it was all gravy from there.

Its the controller by itself. Its when i turn the ignition it flashes non stop, ive replaceed the ignition cable and still the same outcome so it is not the ignition. Any idea where to go from here?

Try the following:

1) Reset the BMS to your battery by charging it for 10 or so seconds through the charge port or also try tbrough the main leads of your battery. See if that works.

2) Another thing you might want to try is to count the number of flashes for the error code.

3) Yet another thing you might try is to connect the contoller to the software to see the fault / error code.

Let us know how it works out, what you find.

I'm stuck in the same way; did you ever get this resolved?
