Good morning everyone.
I own a E-scooter 60V, 2x3200W. (I know this is E-bike, i will get to it in a minute.) But I have noticed that after using the scooter for 10 minutes i lose acceleration from the throttle. I have to use the powerful mode, to barely reach the speed of the slowest mode.
After looking at the throttle, turnout they put the wrong one. a simple 48V.
So, my assumption is that the throttle overheat and disconnect acceleration when reaching it limit for "safety".
I think so, because if I let the scooter cool down for a few minute, I get the original speed for a few seconds / 1 mn.
I have removed the throttle to see the connection, and after looking online, it looks like that mostly E-bike uses throttle going up to 60v.
I have been looking all morning for a "compatible" one, but it looks like I can't find any throttle with the same attachement.
I have attached a couple of pictures. Perhaps you'd be able to link me toward a specific model ?
I have some basic soldering experience if needed to connect cables in a different way. I just have zero knowledge in electrical work.
Also, here are some example I have found, but I can't tell if any of these would actually work...
