Hi guys
Its my first ever time to open my MXUS 3000W motor. I think my hall sensors are toast so I gotta replace them the best way I can. From these pics..how does the motor look? Also is it recommended to try and remove the corrosion on the motor itself and if so, what should I use?
I ordered 41F halls from aliexpress so it will take a while getting here

Post your pictures on the forum itself, so they don't vanish so easy later.

Motor looks brand new to me. Halls may have failed, but they definitely never got so hot they "toasted". That motor is shiny bright, and never got hot enough to cook anything.

What corrosion? Even if it had rusted lightly, so what? I would not even call that light rust.

Before you cut shit up, test your halls and know if they function, or not. Looks like you could use some epoxy, or high temp gasket silicone to glue them in place though.

Thx for the tips!
Ill make sure next time to upload pics to the site itself. I did test the halls when the motor was together. I was getting the 5V reading when touching the negative hall with each green blue and yellow hall, but when I turned the wheel slowly voltage didnt switch between 0v and 5v.
Is there another method to test the halls once the motor is out of the wheel?
Thanks
